AQUA MARINE DECK FAQ'S
WHAT IS AQUA MARINE DECK?
Aqua Marine Deck is hardy, closed cell proprietary marine foam products for boats and marine craft in the form of self adhering pads. These long-lasting, water-resistant pads can be made into various shapes to fit a multitude of marine boating applications such as swim platforms, helm station pads, coaming bolster pads and more. Because of the added traction and shock absorbing qualities of the pads, users can stand or lean longer without tiring. These pads also protect your boat from scratches and chips, while adding noise reducing abilities.
Any marine craft such as fishing boats, sail boats, ski boats or commercial marine craft will appreciate the good-looking, long-lasting pads made especially to fit for your boats platforms, helm stations, swim platforms or steps are a few of the multitude of applications for Aqua Marine Deck's Non-Skid Pads.
Aqua Marine Deck's pads come with a self-adhesive backing for easy installation.
HOW LONG DO THE AQUA MARINE DECK PADS LAST?
That depends on whether the boat is stored indoors or on the water. Normally five to seven years is average.
ARE AQUA MARINE DECK'S PRODUCTS PET FRIENDLY?
The product is made from a closed cell marine grade foam that is moisture resistant and doesn't absorb liquid. Aqua Marine Deck can be torn or ripped by pets if they continually scratch and dig it with their nails.
HOW DO I CLEAN AQUA MARINE DECK?
Aqua Marine Decs is best cleaned with hot, soapy water and a firm brush. You can also Aqua Marine Deck's EVA Cleaner. Stay away from Hull Cleaner.
CAN I RESTICK MY PAD?
Yes you can restick any pad if the edges are starting to come lose. Call our office for alternative or glue to use. If the sheet has completely come off, you will need to thoroughly clean the area and apply a new sheet.
HOW DO I REMOVE AQUA MARINE DECK?
Loosen a corner with a putty knife and grab the edge and pull up. If it seems to be splitting, use your putty knife to loosen the area, or get a partner to help pull. Remove any remaining backing by drenching in mineral spirits for ten minutes, and finish scraping with the plastic putty knife. You can remove residue with either acetone or mineral spirits.
HOW CAN I MAKE MY SURFACE READY FOR AQUA MARINE DECK?
Clean surface and make sure dent free and wipe down with acetone.
CAN THE MATERIAL STAIN?
Clean a stain or spill promptly, especially for rust, mustard, bird droppings and fuel stabilizers.
WHAT IS LIGHT AMPLIFICATION?
Problems with Light Amplification
Aqua Marine Deck pads are extremely hardy and long lasting, but they will look vibrant and fade free longer if they are not exposed directly to outdoor elements when not in use. It is best to store the boat out of direct sunlight by storing the boat in your garage or using a boat cover or covered boat slip.
- Direct or indirect sunlight can reflect off the gel-coat surface to damage the Aqua Marine Deck product.
- Aqua Marine Deck applied in the cockpit and other areas that have vertical planes, or near hardware or stainless surfaces, can rise to temperatures above the operational temperature of 165Β° F (73Β° C).
- Using lighter color products will reduce the Light Amplification issue.
- Light Amplification problems are not covered by our standard warranty, but other material issues will still be covered.
- For your protection, after installing Aqua Marine Deck, the product should be covered when not in use.
Situations to Avoid:
- Avoid inflatable pool toys long term sitting on the Aqua Marine Deck product.
- Water bottles stored long term on the Aqua Marine Deck product.
- Placing Aqua Marine Deck products near reflective surfaces or beneath glass.
The above objects can refract/reflect light, creating a concentrated beam which can harm the Aqua Marine Deck pad.
REMAKE POLICY?
Please email 365getoutdoors@gmail.com with any concerns about products that need to be remade. From time to time there may be incorrect fits or product damage. The request must be submitted within 30 days after receiving your material. We may request that all pieces need to be returned to Aqua Marine Deck before the product is remade for your order. This will be determined upon discussion with Aqua Marine Deck.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS AS DESCRIBED HEREIN. YOU MAY HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH MAY BE DIFFERENT, DEPENDING ON THE STATE.
OUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEFECTIVE GOODS IS LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT, AS DESCRIBED BELOW IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY CAN ALSO BE FOUND ONLINE AT WWW.AQUAMARINEDECK.COM AND IN THE DOCUMENTATION WE PROVIDE WITH THE PRODUCT. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SUPERSEDES AND REPLACES ANY PREVIOUS WARRANTY MADE OR OFFERED TO YOU.
WE WARRANT THAT DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD, THE PRODUCT WILL BE FREE FROM DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP, AND EXCESSIVE FADING OR POLYMER DEGRADATION THAT RESULTS ONLY FROM DEFECTIVE MATERIALS.
OTHER THAN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ALL ESTABLISHED, EXPRESS, AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE WITH THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY BEING THE WARRANTY SPECIFICALLY STATED WITHIN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. EXCEPT FOR THE PROVISIONS STATED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, NO AGENT, EMPLOYEE, SUBCONTRACTOR, OR REPRESENTATIVE OF AQUA MARINE DECK, INC., NOR ANY (OTHER) THIRD PARTY, HAS THE AUTHORITY TO BIND US TO ANY WARRANTY NOT SPECIFICALLY STATED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL NOT BE MODIFIED BY ANY COURSE OF DEALING, INCLUDING OFFERS BY AQUA MARINE DECK, INC. TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE PRODUCT IN CERTAIN SPECIFIC SITUATIONS.
WARRANTY APPLIES ONLY TO ORIGINAL PURCHASE
Aqua Marine Deck, Inc., located at 1020 Parkway Industrial Park Drive, Buford, GA 30517 ("we" or βusβ) extends this limited warranty only to the consumer who originally purchased the product ("you"). It does not extend to any subsequent owner or other transferee of the product, and cannot be transferred or assigned by you to any other person or entity.
WARRANTY COVERAGE
This limited warranty covers only defects in materials and workmanship at the time of manufacture of the product defined in the purchase order or receipt accompanying this limited warranty (βthe product") for the Warranty Period as defined herein.
EXCLUSIONS FROM WARRANTY COVERAGE
This limited warranty does not apply if there is any damage to the product due to: (a) improper installation of the product onto any surface; (b) adhesion of the product to a boat deck or to any other surface to which the product is applied; (c) any issue with the product stemming from non-defective materials; (d) exposure of the product to temperatures above 165ΒΊF. Note this can occur when sunlight is amplified from reflective surfaces, or passes through a refractive medium, such as windshields or other clear objects or structures (e.g., eyeglasses, clear drinking glasses, inflatable pool toys, water bottles, etc.); (e) failure to follow the product instructions or to perform preventive maintenance; (f) alterations to the product; (g) unauthorized repair; (h) normal wear and tear; (i) accident, neglect, abuse, application of improper cleaning products or procedures, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control; or (j) tears, burns, cuts, shredding. Removing any care labels voids the warranty. If the color Red or Black are used as a Top Color, there is no warranty on it.
WARRANTY PERIOD
This limited warranty lasts three (3) years, maximum, if not voided earlier (the "Warranty Period"), beginning the day you purchased the product. The Warranty Period is not extended if the product has been repaired or replaced. We may change this limited warranty at our discretion, in a non-retroactive manner.
AVAILABLE REMEDIES
In our sole discretion, upon proof of purchase (and purchase date) by you, we will either repair or replace a defective product during the Warranty Period with a like or substantially similar product. You must pay for shipping fees of the defective product to us, should that be required, and also the shipping fees for returning the repaired or replacement product to you. This is your sole and exclusive remedy and, if this remedy fails, then your economic remedy shall be limited to the purchase price of the product, prorated for the amount of time left in the Warranty Period. This Limited Warranty shall be governed by and construed according to the laws of the State of Georgia. Each party agrees that the sole and exclusive jurisdiction and venue for all claims arising under or relating to this limited warranty shall in a State of Georgia court located in Cobb County, Georgia or the United States District Court, Northern District of Georgia, wherein each party waives all rights to a jury trial.
WARRANTY SERVICE PROCESS
To obtain warranty service, during the Warranty Period you must contact customer service by phone (770-614-4417) or (410-816-5619) & by email at info@aquamarinedeck.com or 365getoutdoors@gmail.com to obtain a warranty claim number. During this process you may be asked to submit images of the defective area so that it can be evaluated by Aqua Marine Deck for possible defects, as well as proof of purchase by you and purchase date. You may also send the defective merchandise, tagged with your warranty claim number, via mail to: Aqua Marine Deck, Attn: Warranty Department, 1020 Parkway Industrial Park Drive, Buford, GA 30517. If deemed defective by us, at our sole discretion, we will repair or replace the defective product in accordance with the terms of this limited warranty.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND OUR ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL OUR LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, PRORATED FROM PURCHASE DATE, NOR SHALL WE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT. BECAUSE SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY OR MAY NOT APPLY.
365 CUSTOM FABRICATION WARRANTY STATEMENT INFORMATION
At 365 Get Outdoors, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our custom fabrications. We stand behind our work and are committed to ensuring your satisfaction. All custom fabrications are covered under the following warranty:
- Warranty Coverage: We provide a limited one-year warranty on all custom fabrications, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper care.
- Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, accidents, modifications, negligence, exposure to harsh chemicals, or normal wear and tear.
- Warranty Claims: If you believe your custom fabrication has a defect covered by this warranty, please contact us within the warranty period. Provide your proof of purchase, photos of the issue, and a description of the problem.
- Resolution: At our discretion, we will repair, replace, or refund the item if it is deemed defective within the warranty terms.
